There are so many beautiful and exciting places to see in Turkey, and though it is a tourist destination, it is also a country that you could travel to every year. In order to simplify things for others, I have created this list with several popular destinations to see in Turkey. These cities are just a few of the most common, but there are so many more.

Antalya: This is the largest city in all of Turkey and is located on the Mediterranean coast of Cyprus. It is the capital of the province of Cavus and has several different neighborhoods and districts. The main area is known as Antalya City, which is home to the Old Town and the Old Palace. There are also historical areas like Yayladağa Mosque and the Royal Castle. The ancient ruins of Roman and Greek civilizations can be found all over this city. There are plenty of beautiful sights and monuments to see when you are in Antalya.

Istanbul: The second largest city in Turkey is located along the Asian side of the Bosphorus. Istanbul is home to many significant historical buildings and monuments, as well as shopping centers and modern skyscrapers. You will find many historical sights and monuments in this city.

Gaziantep: This is the largest city in the region of Hatay, which is on the Mediterranean Sea. Gaziantep is also home to a large number of beautiful monuments and buildings. This city has been historically significant since the 11th century and has some of the best museums and art galleries in the country.

Antalya: The third-largest city in all of Turkey, Antalya, has one of the largest harbor complexes. It is located on the Mediterranean Sea in close proximity to Istanbul. If you want to see Antalya’s main attractions, you should head up the Antalya-Istanbul road, which runs from Istanbul to Gaziantep and vice versa. Antalya is also the home to several historical places and monuments like the Acropolis.

Bursa: Bursa is located near Antalya on the west coast of the city. Bursa was built during the eighth century by Emperor Justinian. This area is home to a number of religious monuments and has a number of amazing statues. You can easily take in the city’s sights by renting a car and exploring the different neighborhoods. Bursa is also one of Turkey’s oldest towns and is home to a large number of ruins.

Rize: Rize is the fifth largest city in Turkey and is the smallest in the entire country. This city is located about twenty-five miles from the city center. Rize is also located on the eastern side of the Bosphorus River and is situated right on the Bursa. It is also part of the larger district of Cizre.

Siverbes Ipek: Siverbes Ipek is also located close to Bursa and is situated just four kilometers from the sea. The district is a major commercial center and is the second-largest city in all of Turkey. If you want to experience some historical architecture, Siverbes Ipek is definitely for you. This area also features some of the largest mosques and churches in all of Turkey.

Taksim: Taksim is one of the biggest cities in all of Turkey. Taksim was built as an administrative center of the Seljuk Sultanate, which was located at the time between Asia Minor and Asia in the seventh century.

Taksim is located on the Asian side of the Bosphorus River and is situated within the city center. It also boasts of a number of beautiful churches, monasteries, and cathedrals. You can enjoy an incredible view of the Bosphorus while walking around the old city center and shopping. It is a popular destination because it houses a large number of historical buildings and monuments.

Sokos: Sokos is one of the last cities that you would want to miss on your trip to Turkey. Sokos is located on the European side of the Bosphorus. You will enjoy all of the beautiful views and sights of Istanbul by taking a train ride over to Sokos.
